01 / OUR MISSION

Great engineering is more than technical.

Traditional coursework creates a foundation. SEE helps students build the experience that surrounds it: initiative, judgment, communication, collaboration, and the ability to create value.

07 / GET INVOLVED

There's a place for you
at SEE.

Whether you want to learn, build, mentor, collaborate, or bring a challenge, we can help you find a starting point.

Big ideas start with a conversation.

No need to have everything figured out. Tell us what you're curious about or what problem you're trying to solve.

QUICK ANSWERS

Good questions.
Better conversations.

SEE is built for people willing to show up, get curious, and contribute.

Do I have to be part of a specific engineering major?

SEE is centered on engineering, but meaningful projects often benefit from collaboration across disciplines. Get in touch to explore where you fit.

Do I need a project idea to join?

No. You can start by attending an Exchange session, meeting students, or contributing to an existing project.

Can industry partners bring real problems?

Yes. Share the challenge, desired outcomes, timing, and any constraints. SEE can explore whether there's a good match with student and faculty interests.

Is ENGR 5600 required?

No. SEE activities and project opportunities extend beyond any single course. ENGR 5600 is one way to develop the related entrepreneurial mindset.
